Dr. Kashman grew up in Minneapolis and attended both undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. She and her husband moved to Arizona in 2008 and have lived in Mesa for the past 14 years. They have 7 cats and 2 dogs, most of whom were rescued during Dr. Kashman's time as a veterinarian over the past decade. 

While Dr. Kashman has worked primarily in general practice with companion animals, she has also spent time in emergency medicine and has a special interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

When not at McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital caring for her patients, Dr. Kashman enjoys reading, watching scary movies, and snuggling with her 4 legged kids.
