Dr. Lawrence was born in Mesa and raised in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Growing up with cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and amphibians, Dr. Lawrence developed an appreciation and love for all animals large and small at a very young age. 

After completing her degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at Northern Arizona University where she worked with monarch butterflies aiding in conservation efforts, Dr. Lawrence realized that by becoming a veterinarian she would be able to pursue both her passion for science and her desire to work with animals, going on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine as part of the inaugural class of 2023 at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Lawrence decided to become part of the McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital family after completing one of her final year small animal rotations with us and is very excited to return to the Scottsdale area to serve her local community and their furry family members.

 Dr. Lawrence has two rescue cats and a golden retriever mix named Theo. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, skiing, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
