Grooming - for dogs and cats

Grooming is a vital part of your pet’s health

Every dog and cat, regardless of size, breed, age or coat type, needs to be groomed on a regular basis. Regular grooming can prevent problems such as excessive shedding, skin and paw disorders, painful mats, and bad breath, as well as help you identify other problems that might go unnoticed without the extra attention. Here at McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital, you'll find the most caring professional in the industry.

About Our Groomer: Trueth Owen

Trueth

Trueth grew up along the West Coast and his family settled in Phoenix when he was still in grade school. Raised by the family dogs while his parents were busy at work, Trueth thought it was pretty natural when he realized how much he wanted to work with animals and was very excited to step into the pet industry. Since starting in 2005, he has both attended and taught classes on pet grooming for both dogs and cats,

At home Trueth is an amateur novelist who originally wanted to grow up to be a writer. He still pursues that passion and continues his schooling in English, and his favorite thing in the world is custard. The light of his evenings at home is his 'little' Norwegian Elkhound, Ashen, who continues to amaze him with her mischief.
